Rather than a fixed campus, The Enclave is a network of spaces curated for solitude, focus, and creative renewal. Fellows choose when and where they go, spending up to two weeks at a time in environments that support deep thinking, writing, composition, and reflection. Residencies unfold with flexibility and without prescribed outcomes. What matters is the inner shape of the work that emerges.

The project grows from a belief that creativity thrives when space is held generously and unhurriedly. It experiments with what I call reciprocal philanthropy — hosts offer unused spaces freely and Fellows bring their full presence and creativity into those places, activating them with thought and care.

The Enclave is not just about giving artists rooms to work. It is about reimagining the conditions that allow creative life to flourish. It asks a fundamental question.
